FAQ's Q. My dog is 12 and only needs gentle exercise whilst I am out at work, will he be walked with young boisterous dogs?
A. No, he can be walked on his own or with other dogs of a similar age or exercise requirement. Older dogs may not need lots of exercise but mental stimulation and socialising with like minded dogs can be very beneficial! I always respect each and every dog’s individual needs to make sure they are returned home tired but happy.
Q. I am out at work from 8am until 6pm which is too long to leave my dog on her own, what time will you be able to take her out?
A. It is recommended that dogs are left no longer than 4-6 hours (depending on individual characters). One walk around lunchtime may be sufficient for your dog, or perhaps two half hour walks throughout the day would suit her better. Dog walking is available in the mornings, lunchtime, afternoon and evenings. Whatever you choose she will be returned home tired but happy.
Q. My two cats get very stressed when I leave them at the cattery can you look after them instead?
A. Yes! Cats are very independent creatures and often find it difficult and stressful to adjust to new surroundings. The answer is to leave them in their home environment and I will visit your home once or twice a day to check on them. This includes, feeding, providing fresh water, cleaning litter trays and lots of cuddles if required! I can also make sure your post is moved, plants are watered, curtains opened and closed etc to give your home the lived in look whilst you are away. Ideal if you are away for a few days on business or longer if you are on holiday.
Q. Are you insured whilst looking after my dog?
A. In the highly unlikely event of something happening whilst your dog is in my care I have £2million Public Liability Insurance. This covers injury to third parties and damage to third party property. However, I do recommend that all dogs/cats owners insure their pets to cover any unexpected vets bills! The health and safety of all animals in my care is taken very seriously and everything that can be done, is done, to make sure they are safe. If it’s not good enough for my dog Darcy, then it’s not good enough for your dog is the rule I stick to! |
